Zusammenfassung

Entrepreneurship Education gilt als zentraler Ansatz zur Förderung der Entwicklung unternehmerischer Kompetenzen im schulischen Bildungssystem. Erkenntnisse aus der Lehrer:innenperspektive sind zur nachhaltigen Umsetzung der Thematik von hoher Relevanz. Diese Studie untersucht die Implementierung der Entrepreneurship Education in der schleswig-holsteinischen Sekundarstufe aus Sicht der Lehrpersonen mit Hilfe des quantitativen Erhebungsinstruments „Measurement Tool for Entrepreneurship Education“ (MTEE). Die Studienteilnehmer:innen (N=162) bewerten die Relevanz von Entrepreneurship Education hoch, während die bisherige praktische Umsetzung als eher gering eingeordnet wird. Eine Auseinandersetzung mit Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder Entrepreneurship Education im Studium bzw. im Vorbereitungsdienst hat positive Auswirkungen auf die spätere Umsetzung von Entrepreneurship Education. Auf Basis der Ergebnisse gibt der Beitrag konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen für Politik & Praxis.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is considered a key approach to promoting the development of entrepreneurial skills in the school education system. Findings from the teacher's perspective are of high relevance for long-lasting implementation of the topic. Therefore, this study examines the implementation of entrepreneurship education in secondary schools in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) from the perspective of teachers. The Finnish quantitative survey ‘Measurement Tool for Entrepreneurship Education’ (MTEE) is used for this purpose. The study participants (N=162) rate the relevance of entrepreneurship education highly. However, its practical implementation in schools is still limited. It is evident that engaging with economics or entrepreneurship education during one's studies or preparatory service has a positive impact on the implementation of entrepreneurship education. Based on the results, this article provides concrete recommendations for policymakers & practitioners in school education.
