Zusammenfassung

Das Thema des vorliegenden Beitrages ist die ökonomische Bildung in einer digitalen Welt. Für unsere Positionsbestimmung nehmen wir zwei Perspektiven ein: Man kann einerseits fragen, in-wiefern die ökonomische Bildung die digitale Welt beeinflusst oder beeinflussen kann bzw. wie die digitale Welt von der ökonomischen Bildung profitieren kann. Umgekehrt lässt sich ebenso fragen, wie die Digitalisierung und die digitale Transformation die ökonomische Bildung verändern, oder, anders formuliert, wie die ökonomische Bildung von der digitalen Welt profitieren kann. Wir neh-men beide Perspektiven ein und schauen in beide Richtungen der gegenseitigen Beeinflussung, um zu erkunden, welche Entwicklungen zu beobachten und welche Chancen zu erwarten sind.

Abstract

The topic of this paper is economic education in a digital world. For the purpose of defining our position, we take two perspectives: On the one hand, one can ask to what extent economic edu-cation influences or can influence the “digital world”, that is, how the digital world can benefit from economic education. On the other hand, we can also ask how digitalisation and digital transfor-mation are changing economic education, or, to put it differently, how economic education can benefit from the digital world. We take both perspectives and look in both directions of mutual influence to explore which developments can be observed and which opportunities can be ex-pected.
